Upper Storage Developer Report
Outgoing Primary = Alex K, incoming = Leo H.


General:
Michael Z. and Rob K. investigated fe corruption with size > 4GB.
XFS Direct I/O read corruption for files > 4 GB is reported for
Fermi Linux 7.3.X (kernel.org 2.4.26), as well as SL 3.0
(2.4 red hat kernel).  See emails for details.
File "encp.options" has been changed to disable direct IO on all systems.

 pool 040 stays down - hardware. 
6/14/05
The file /diska/pnfs/log/dbserver.log has reached 2GB and pnfs server
stopped after that. File was renamed.

6/14/05 - encp reports error concerning wrong wrapper pnfs tag.
There were broken (not readable ?) file family wrapper and file family
width encp tags in /pnfs/test/retina/. Fixed.
How they get corrupted ?

 6/14/05 DoorK24 stuck - restarted.

Jon reports intermitment problems with monitoring which fails
shortly after restart. Restarted on Thursday.
