These statistics were gathered from yum and apt downloads comming from unique IP addresses. We believe this
gives us a approximation to how many actual machines are using Fermi Linux and Scientific Linux.
We have noticed that as various groups mirror our repository, that our statistics keep
going down. We currently do not have any better way of keeping track of users.
That being said, just note that the number of users, is actually higher than is
reported here.
