This is the proposed support structure for current Fermi Linux releases.

   FERMI LINUX 7.1.x

• Support ended on Dec 31, 2003, including security updates.

   FERMI LINUX 7.3.x

• Support ended on Dec 31, 2004, including security updates.

   FERMI LINUX 9.0.x

• Support ended on April 30, 2004, including security updates.

    Scientific Linux Fermi LTS (LongTermSupport) 3.0.x

• Fermi Linux LTS 3.0.1 was released January 26, 2004
• Support for all of the Scientific Linux Fermi LTS 3.0.1 - 3.0.8 releases ends on October 31, 2007, including security updates.
• Scientific Linux Fermi LTS 3.0.9 (Codename Legacy) will not get anything more than the security updates provides by The Upstream Vendor. These security updates will continue until TUV stops supporting Enterprise 3. This is currently October 31, 2010.
  Because we will only be providing security updates provided by TUV, We will have to take out or modify some of our value added packages due to their maintenance load. Two of these packages are firefox and thunderbird.

    Scientific Linux Fermi 4.x

• Scientific Linux Fermi 4.1 was released September 20, 2005
• Support should continue until at least October 31, 2008

    Scientific Linux Fermi 5.x

• Scientific Linux Fermi 5.0 was released ????
• Support should continue until at least April 30, 2010
