If you look at the last two lines of ks.cfg:
mv /mnt/lib/modules/2.0.36-3/net/3c59x.o /mnt/tmp/3c59x.o.bak
cp -f /modules/3c59x.DMODVERSIONS.o /mnt/lib/modules/2.0.36-3/net/3c59x.o
It was supposed to overwrite your old 3c59x.o with the one I compiled (newer
version that supports C), for some reason it didn't...
What I sent you was /modules/3c59x.DMODVERSIONS.o from the
boot.img.net.fermi.3c59x
