Margaret just came by to prove that should could crash it from my computer and
she could. However, clicking "stop" (to stop the animation and then logging
in, I was successful.

Sounds like an interaction with animated gifs and password problem. Anyone
check the bugzilla.mozilla.org page to see if this has been reported? If not,
could someone please do this?
