RedHat 6.1 Needs work!

Hi,

This is a follow-up to my last e-mail where I complained about
RedHat taking configurability out of their latest release. I have been
seeing some strange problems/bugs and I'm not happy with the latest number
of bug that people have been finding. I believe Dan Yocum noted a bug
count of about 300, its now up to 355 (as of yesterday). Most of these
bugs are noted on redhat's tracking site.

On top of that, the install script crashes if you try to do a
custom configuration, so you must select their vanilla configuration and
modify it yourself, later. (It crashes when I do a ftp install -- the
only type of install that I can do at this point.)

Its clear that redhat 6.1 will need a lot more work.

Regards,

Jeff
