I have problems installing Fermi Redhat Linux
on a PC with a Promise UDMA-66 controller ...
According to the Ultra-DMA-how-to his controller should
be supported starting from kernel 2.0.35 (eventhough
only in UDMA-33 mode).
It seems the main problem is the fermi boot disk
which looks like 2.0.34 to me (editing vmlinux ;-)).
Any Ideas? I know that using the "on board" IDE
and switching later might help, but I'm looking
for a more elegant solution first ..... ;-)
Thanks
Andreas Korn
PS: when is FRHL 5.2 officially expected?
