Hello all,

As you may have already heard, Linus Torvalds, the father of the Linux
operating system, will visit Fermilab on Sunday, April 18th while he is in
town for the Spring Comdex show.

All Fermi staff, their family and friends are invited to come and talk with
Linus from 5:30 to 7:00 in Ramsey Auditorium. Linus will not be giving a
"formal" presentation, per se, but he will talk about the Linux OS and field
questions from the audience. Having seen Linus talk at LinuxWorld, I can
attest that it will be an informative and insightful presentation as well as
quite entertaining.

I realize 5:30 on a Sunday evening is less than the best time to schedule a
talk, but it's the only time Linus could squeeze it into his busy time table.
I certainly hope that you can all adjust your schedules to come out and meet
him.

Thank you for your time.

Dan
