People have this strange notion that because we use the Red Hat 5.0
distribution that we use the kernel that came with it.... no.

I'm gonna say this one more time for everyone's sake:

We've taken the 5.0 distribution and applied as many patches that are
available - which means that the kernel that comes with Fermi Red Hat Linux
5.0.2 is 2.0.35 which is one better than what you get with Red Hat 5.1!

As a matter of fact I know that Harry's machine is running kernel 2.0.36
'cause I installed it.
