As you insisted, I installed the upgrade patch on my Linux system
(fiber1.fnal.gov) because I was at version 19. When I tried to reboot, I
got the following error:
"Operating System Not Found"
I assume this is a bad thing, especially since this is a DAQ
computer ready to take some data starting tomorrow. I called the
help desk but didn't get any call back. How do I proceed from here?
Do I get a new boot disk from the 8th floor and rebuild the computer
or is there some magic method of recovering?
