Bad news on SO5 license terms:

"Non-commercial Purposes" means use other than for commercial or business
purposes. Educational institution use and non-profit entity use of the
PROGRAM are each deemed to be for commercial or business purposes.
However, use of a single-person home office is not deemed to be for
commercial or business purposes.

So, it looks like having this in use in the lab is out. *However*, there
is such a thing as a `campus' license for educational/research
institutions which may be appropriate. If people think this is a
sufficiently interesting product I suggest they push CD to find out more
about it: Try the `education' button from
http://www.stardivision.com/office/

Cheers,
Chris.
