I upgraded my system to fermi red hat v5.0.2 this week, and I'm
experiencing some strange side effects. One of the problems is that I had
installed the acroread pdf file reader to read PDF files on the web. This
worked file with the last version of netscape, but with the new version,
when I click on a PDF document, the file is downloaded but the acroread
viewer never comes up. I have check several times that the path to
acroread is correct. I have downloaded the PDF file and started acroread
by hand; this works without any problems.
Postscript files are correctly displayed with ghostview, but the
PDF files are not. Anyone have any ideas?
