Where did you get the CD from? The official method of installation on site is
via the NFS server, linux.fnal.gov. Are you on-site or off?

As we have clearly stated in the installation guide, you need the new floppy
from Yolanda or PREP, the old one will not work.

I have seen this behavior before, and as you are booting off the floppy, I
wouldn't be a bit surprised that this is a problem for you.

Get the new install floppy and re-do the install.
