I got the CD (released 2 weeks ago) and did a install (I should have
upgraded it) and LILO wouldn't install. It says: There is an error in
installing the LILO to the MBR. Does anyone know what could cause this? I
can only login through the boot disk (from the official RH5.0).
Do I really need to get the floppy from Yolanda? Could this be the
culprit?
I also tried to mount my cdrom but got a message:
fs type is9660 not supported by kernel
This kernel is 2.0.35, how is it possible? Do I need to compile the
support in? TIA.
