Backup Statistics for the CSS TiBS servers. In October 2004, CSS began migration of backups from their older AIT-3 media and aging TiBS server:abyss, to the newer SAIT media and the two faster TiBS servers:canyon and chasm. The new media holds 500GB native (versus 100GB for AIT-3) and the drives can write at 30MB/s sustained (vs 12MB/s for AIT-3).
